National Galleries, EdinburghRailing / Gate installation project The Playfair Project has rejuvenated the National Galleries of Scotland’s presence at The Mound in central Edinburgh by creating a single, integrated complex ...
Ballantine Bo’ness has established itself as a UK leader in railing and gate repair and restoration, in addition to new build or replication projects.
This is one of our core businesses and we have honed our skills in this area over the last 200 years working on Public, Private and Restoration projects. Any project is within our capabilities ranging from 2 kilometre runs of railings around Royal Parks and 700 tonne gates and railings in the Middle East or to technically intricate restoration projects.
However, we have recently seen a rise in private projects with people looking to add to the aesthetic appeal of their property in addition to the value of their home by adding ornate cast iron gates, spiral stairs, balconies or railings.
The service we offer includes original surveys, consultancy, design expertise, specialist metal knowledge, complete casting supply and eventually site erection. Our broad range of patterns, and indeed our ability to make new designs, means that we can tailor our product to match our clients’ every need. Any design is possible and this is something that we take great pride in.
